Printing Information Print Guidelines Your postcards printed and posted direct to your clients! How to save your images Please send your images to us as high resolution print ready PDF, JPEG or TIFF files, making sure your image has a resolution no less than 300dpi and that the print size of your image is no smaller than that required on the finished card. ! Please note: We require all files for printing saved as CMYK. What does CMYK and RGB mean? The print industry operates on the CMYK (Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-Black) colour system whereas most digital cameras and desktop scanners save files as RGB (Red-Green-Blue). Why will this affect me? If we have to convert colours from RGB to CMYK this can result in colour differences between what you see on screen (or from your printer) and your final printed products. Colour Matching If you're sending an image on disc, by e-mail or online we strongly advise sending us a 'hard' copy for the balancing of colours. For a small additional charge we can provide you with a proof to assist you with colour matching. Layers & Fonts In the case of an image containing layers, all layers should be flattened before sending. All relevant fonts should be included.
